I'd target 400K as a fair price, but as some said above, this could go pretty darn high.

Go for it, but do it quick before its value erodes any further. I think you will find it is much harder to sell for these prices than people think. Req 7 was worth a fortune as speculators had way too much money to invest and req 7 was new. Just like everything else, though, they are becoming extremely common, and as more players leave the game until the expansion is released, and very few new players replace them, it is only a matter of time before these swords are worth next to nothing. A req 8 longsword 15>50 now sells for under 100K all the time. There is no way in the world that a req 7 flamberge could really be worth more than a couple hundred plat. But go ahead and buy it, and see how much profit you can turn. I would be curious to hear the results. There are still a lot of idiots out there, so you might make out like a bandit, I suppose . . .

There is a big difference between people on these boards giving you a price check and seeing what people in the game would actually really pay, though.

i do agree with you on the fact that i have seen a lot more req.7 weapons coming about in the last few weeks. But i still see a sword like this at least bring 300k to 400k in the present economy. If this was 15% when enchanted req.7 i would give 200k for it right now and consider it a bargain. I have a feeling we will still see quite a bit of these req.7 weapons coming about, and as you said, as more and more people stop playing arena net will try to find new ways of keeping people interested in the game. This is the same reason they brought green weapons in. If they ever get too desperate i wouldn't doubt it if they brougt back the unconditional no negative weapons. If this happend there value would plummet. i have been thinking about selling mine for this very reason.
