Prima guide release date?
Morgan19
When is the Prima guide actually going to show up in stores? An EB rep at a store told me it was coming today, the EBgames website lists the 17th, and Borders just says "not published yet."
And please keep in mind this isn't a "you should or shouldn't buy the guide" thread, I'm just wondering when it's going to be for sale.

Who needs a hint guide? Just kidding. I'm an old school kind of guy. I'm happy just adventuring through this great world of ours.

This is so easy to follow the map along I doubt I will get one myself, but EQ2 I did just for the maps. They can be useful for knowing what things are needed to craft as well. MxO I bought one to for the same reasons.

To be honest, I play the game for the competition factor. Not because of it's Gosu PvE hype. So anything I can do, and any knowledge I can aquire to help me get to the top, be it maps, crafting help, nifty PvP trips, skill combos, ect, I will listen, pay attention to, and read to help me and my guild mates be the best we can be.

The guides on this site are probably better than the Prime guide, and you can count on them being kept up to date! The entire forum will scream if they aren't!

Isn't that what this site is for? :P
Once you get past the 5000 "Noob question, how do I identify items?" posts here there is actually alot of information.
I bet for every question asked here there is at lest 10 or more people that know the answer.
If we could get the new folks here to actually read the "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING" message it would be a much nicer place :P
I do agree however, I like to be thorough with my questing and this guide would be helpful.

Like I said, I didn't intend for this to devolve into a stereotypical "why would you want a guide?!??!111" thread... So much for wishful thinking. If you don't have a date to help answer the question, why are you posting?

I'd buy the guide to find all the collectors, etc. I keep finding them but then they get themselves lost when I get what they collect. Anyways, last date I saw, May 4, $19.99.

I work at EB Games, I just learned that there was a printing error that delayed the release and EB Games are expecting the guides on Thursday June 3rd. You can pre-order the book online and have it available to pick up in stores or go in to an EB and pre-order in order to guaruantee you get one, most stores will only get 3-4 copies.
Hope this is helpful!!
