Okey, i'm going to explain my situation and then i'd really appreciate it if people could possibly give me some answers...
Okey so i've just left Augury rock with my W/Mo to go solo desert griffon hunting.
I run for about 5 mins before arriving to my favourtite solo destination. But heres my problem.
For the last 2 days, whenever i try to gather these griffons they run away from me???
Like sometimes a group of 3 will attack me, but thats it, is this problem only affecting me or has Anet nurfed these griffons so i cant own them anymore....?
Any ideas or answers like i said earlier would be greatly apreciated

When I farm I try to gather all of the griffons at once. When I do this, theres always a couple who stay away from me, but they still follow. After I'm dont gathering all of them, there are a few who stay close by but just watch from a distance. When I'm done killing the ones which were sticking close to me, the ones which stayed away move in and start attacking, but they never leave me alone completely.

With griffons I always do one group at a time, takes longer but I'm not really concerned with that. With each group, I'm almost always only fighting 2/3 or 2-3/4. That's always how it's been with my gf when she does it too. We like to consider the third (or fourth) the "noob monk". "Oh you guys need help? Well jeez you should have told me before you died. I guess I'll help now.... *yawn* *chews some grass* Oh yeah coming!"

theres an area with minotaurs in the desert which seems to be bugged where they all refuse to fight if u walk away from them, or fight one another and ignore u. It's pretty funny being able to walk through in just your undies knowing they won't attack you.

Here's what I noticed from farming those useless griffons.
When the group consists of 3 of them, only 2 will attack you while the other waits.
When the group consists of 4 of them, only 3 will attack you while the other waits.
In short, there will always be 1 griffon per group that won't attack you until you kill another from its own group.

They don't drop any decent stuff anymore. Haven't seen a single gold drop off of them in a long time. Bastards.

hmm, i have been farming them for a week or so after some updates: results: not even 1 gold drop, maybe few purples.. i gather them all, they all come i kill all. i used to get gold items all the time.

Zades, if it takes 5 minutes to run to your favorite spot, you are heading for the wrong direction. There is a valley where minotours attack each other (young minotours playing fields? ) but the griffin farming spot is closer to augury rock: just keep heading along the left side of the dunes, passing some minotours and you will get there. Happy hunting!

I dunno. I'm starting to believe my own conspiracy theory. The one that says that they somehow monitor how many runs a player has done in total. Like, 'oh this player has done waaay too many runs already, let's cut down on their drops altogether'. I love my griffons and they love me. They're always chasing me. But maybe our love isn't meant to be..

And griffons have been dropping really well for me. I may be slow but I've been getting nice drops. I got a max def gold req 10 tactics Shield of the Wing Health +33 (enchanted). It's my new shield.
