Hi. If I have a grip of enchanting (19%), will a 10-second enchantment last 11 seconds (rounded down), 12 seconds (rounded up) or 11.9 seconds (exact value)?

It would really suck if my 19% extra enchant actually does nothing to Diversion because 6.95 rounded down to 6

Diversion is a hex not an enchantment

I'm 99% positive GW does natural rounding, just like they taught you in math class, rather than using the typical "floor" (always rounding down) like most games.

Spells like Protective Spirit don't round at all. They DROP the decimal entirely, when calculating damage from a percentage.

I don't know how the Enchants Last x% Longer mod works in this regards.

im pretty sure they just trunchate the decimal(drop it off entirely) so
12.9 -> 12
12.1 -> 12

Gosh, then that makes 20% a whole lot better than 10-19% if you're using low-duration enchants like blood is power....

Most things in this game are done using natural rounding as far as I can tell:

2.5 => 3
2.4 => 2

On that note, it wouldn't be overwhelmingly difficult to tell. Stopwatch ftw.

Just count the hits from Balths Aura or similar enchant. If it gives 12 hits from a 19% it rounds up.

I've tested this before and the lengths do not appear to be truncated, therefore they are either rounded normally or not rounded at all. The discrepancy is too small to tell the difference.
