My character's Earth Magic skill is to set to 16, is there anyway I can increase it to 17 or 18? or is that just impossible?...She has the Superior Rune of Earth Magic, it only bumped it up to 16.

Glyph of Elemental Power
adds 2 Poitns of Attributes to your Next Elemental Spell
so its possible to get 18

Well, you cant keep it at 18 continuously. But if you use glyph of elemental power, you can get it up to 18. You cast glyph, then whatever earth magic you want. But then you have to re-cast glyph of elemental power to get to 18 again.

You cant use glyph of lesser energy with it though, since you can't stack glyphs

19 is possible as well if you have a 20% chance to +1 combined with glyph.

I have a 20% to fire and I have seen numbers that are higher than a normal glyph cast. But I think the percentage is actually less than 20% chance when you cast glyph. Sort of like stacking a couple 20% items together. You have like a 4% chance of a "super" cast.

Someone correct me if I am wrong here. I just know I have seen some hits on common monters I farm that are higher than I see over and over again when I cast Glyph. Not extreme differences, but slghtly higher. Surely nothing to get super excited about.

Hmmm, I though any attribute points over level 17 were "dead attribute points", in that they don't increase the damage or affect over what it was at level 17. So you can get over level 17 with things like glyphs and +20 mods, but you won't see any added damage or affect moving from 17 to 18/19.

I seem to remember this being the case, but I could be mistaken (or maybe this only applies to weapons and not spells).
