I've been playing since May and I've never seen a leather belt drop. Is Alton Thorne in Lion's Arch just a tease? Or is it really possible to get his +22 energy +30 health jeweled chalice?

I've searched these forums and found no answer. I've searched countless websites and collector item maps. No luck.

Please help me. It's driving me crazy!

there are some bandits in the galrath quest that drop them i believe, you cna find parties for the galrath quest in the emple of ages

there arent many of them there though, so you may have to beg for them, or buy them off of your party members

Yes, I'm sure they do exist. Can't remember who they drop from - I'll get back to you on that one though

Now that you mention it I remember hearing that before. And I've never done Galrath so that explains why I've never seen one.

Thanks so much!!!

Don't leather belts drop near Fort Ranik? Or am I thinking of a lower level version of the item you're talking about?

No, those are Worn Leather Belts. Normal Leather Belts are something different, I'm pretty sure you get them off a different sort of bandit in Post Searing. Still not sure exactly who drops them though

yes they do. that is a nice collectors item, which explains the item he wants for it. only the bandits by galrath drop them, and the mobs over there can be a %$#&@.

There are only about 7 bandits in the mission too (unless the * of Verata monsters also drop them, which would help significantly), so you pretty much need to kill all of them yourself, and hope you get enough quests. Or start doing Galrath a lot. Or something. There may be other places to find them somewhere in the distant wilderness, but I haven't seen them yet. I can confirm that the bandits do drop them though, I think I picked up two on my last Galrath run.
