I just started into Post-Searing Ascalon, noticed my Stalker was gone..is this normal? or a bug, Fuzzy Wuzzy was my lifeline......

DO you have your charm animal skill on your skill bar? I did this once--got a new skill and accidentally switched out the charm animal one in town. Once I zoned --I did not see him and thought it was a bug.

Yep got to have charm animal skill in an active skill slot to have your pet. I don't like this idea at all, but for some reason you have to. I actually /buged it when I realized this thinking it was a bug. But considering how it survived all the Beta's it must be the way they want it.

Seems fitting to me. To use one of your skills, you have to use a slot like the rest of us. I mean, it should would be nice if my firestorm spell just started raining the pain whenever I got near mobs whether it was on my skill bar or not.

The pet is not gone permanently. Taking Charm Animal off your skill bar is how you leave your pet at home. You can always put it back, and he or she will journey with you once again. The only way to permanently lose your pet is to give it to the animal tamer, who will find old Fluffy a new home somewhere to retire in.

You can't retire Fluffy, he's all that's keeping me alive!
