Pre-searing

So once you get past pre-searing, and its the 2 years later part, is there no going back?

Im asking because even though I didnt rush and completed many of the quests in pre-searing (I got to level 6 on mostly just doing quests and not grinding) I think that I still missed some areas (like Northlands I think its called).

So am I screwed and need to start a new charachter to get to pre-searing or is there a way to go back to pre-searing even though im already in searing?

I hope that some of you understood this really confusing post and that you could answer my question.
