Will arenanet ever have a "invite a guest" weekend event again?

Sometimes I would like to invite personal friends to play and see how they like the game before they make a purchase, however a few of these friends are not in the same town to be able to look at it on my machine.

I think this would be a great option to perhaps allow 1-2 guest invites per month?

What do you guys think?

i think they should do some trial period for everyone so they can try the game...
maybe they could try the pre-ascalon area with limited quests

Probably because the site requires a sn# for an ati card to be able to use it. I mean like the "guest pass" anet gave everyone in the beta packs.

yeah i see you have to have ati for the promo. im assuming that most GW players have ATI cards, as nvidia was incompatible with GW for quite a while after GW went gold, and the box has a big ATI logo on it. it doesent include everyone tho, i admit.

OT, thanks, it is absolutely georgeous here. theres not much work here tho (decent paying) so i hope i can stay too.
