Korean competition arena oddity;

If you look at the circled (squared?) guild labels, you'll see that 3 of the members of the enemies were from the same guild, and this is the competition arena.

This isn't the first time I'd seen it either. Every team with korean members I've run across is composed entirely of korean members, and many of them have members from the same guilds.

Is there an overlap between competition and team arenas, and the various realms, resulting in Korean guild teams being pitted against random US teams? Or have they found a way to abuse the system of arena placement?

Not sure, but it's annoying. If I wanted to play against guild teams, I'd go to the team arenas. As it were, if they have indeed found a way to skew placement in pre-set groups against competition teams, it's a rather cheap way to score faction, by ensuring you have balanced teams.

No accusations though, of course. It could be team arena teams being pulled to fill in for competition teams when there's a shortage, for all I know.

What I do know is that I don't think it should be happening.

One of the other teams I remember distinctly was 4 korean wa/mo's, and they were pretty well coordinated. Not sure if they were in the same guild, only started paying attention to them recently. (Staring at funny looking symbols from another language and remembering them casually is not something I normally do.)

Edit; Come to think of it, it could possibly have been joining a team that had already won 8 times, and I missed the change to team arenas screen. I don't think so, but I can't honestly say I was paying THAT much attention.
And, as I'd said, this has happened before in times where I'm absolutely positive we were in the competition arenas, because when we won, the next matches were against random teams once again, and eventually, we'd go to the team arenas most of the time.

i think there might be a glitch where you are somehow fighting team arena teams before 10 wins in competition.

or they might just have been in the same district and clicked "Enter Mission" at the same exact time through some voice program or if they were in an internet cafe
