Weapon damages..How to tell?

Ok..I made a ranger. I have the bow from the preorder..but the dmg it reads is 13-25 w/ markmanship 10... I bought another bow and it says 10-16 with markmanship of 6. How can I tell which is the better bow before buying? I have marksmanship 4 BTW.

Well, the 13-25 does more damage while the 10-16 can be used at a lower skill level. Also look at any extra features plus remember that when you customize it you'll get 10-20% extra damage.

I would say the Ithas bow is better,the damage also counts on part of your markmanship the higher it is the more damage you do. Also chekc if thers add-ons like +5 energy or stuff like that. I usually jsut buy the thing and see how good it is and if it's better then i salvage my old one for stuff. Also remember when you custmize it it does mor damage

You can't *effectively* use any item whose requirements you do not meet. In the case of your character, put the Ithas in the bank and don't use the other bow until you can a 6 Marksmanship.
