The new system with guests for a guild is pretty nice and I like how you can test new members without having to make them permanent members immediately. But it generates problems as well. Today we ran into a guild with a lower rank (~300) and were expecting a tough, yet manageable fight. Wrong, we got owned pretty hard at the flagstand - that's when we saw that four of the opponents were from Esoteric Warriors, the Nr. 1 guild right now. I don't know whether the whole guild is a smurf of EW and that itself is not my problem. But I dislike the ability to field FOUR guild guests for a GvG. That's not your guild anymore, that's just picking up your Nr. 1 friends to upset others. I can live with a loss to EW or any top-ranked guild (I know we are not in their league) but I don't want to lose to a guild that just has friends amongst some of the best GW players and invites them to "push" their ranking.
So I'd suggest restricting guild-guests for GvG to 1 (or maximum 2) per team. That should suffice to test new players, yet doesn't change your entire guild into something new. Or prohibit guests from rated GvG so they can't mess up the ladder.
What do you think about that issue?

i agree, but i think it should be three guests in a battle, because some guilds dont have too many players, and might need a guest or two to fill the eight characters.

lol we came across 4 EpC (eye popping chickens) 2 EW and 2 sup
we still owned them.. but that was when we were mental block
btw the guild was ranked +1000, i think the ability to hire people for money to do GvG is pretty bad..
but its really up the people not A.Net.
everytime they try to do something helpfull some asshole turns around and screws it up for everyone else
if a guild needs to 'Hire' people to play GvG for them, then they are a bad guild tbh

3 seems like a more reasonable numbers. The majority of players on the field should be from the guild, not guests.
