Sickles are always said to be "the rarest item in the game." But you see them everywhere. You could probably find 50 to 100 topics of guys trying to sell sickles, so why are they claimed so rare?
Its said a max dmg sickle is rare, when logically it just doesnt exist. I dont think sickles should be called rare just because they dont exist in max dmg form.
Personally, i feel dwarven or serpent axes should be at the top of the rare axe list. Sickles really arent all that rare, and people are starting to blow their value way up.
Give me some feedback on what you think sickles should be called as far as rank in rareness.

1000s of players access this site, and because people will buy non-max sickles, everyone who has one posts it up. if people started looking for non-max serpents and dwarvens, tons of people would start trying to sell them. as it is, most people hold on to non-max dwarven/serpents for the skin or just merchant them.

i think rare sickle means the 6-23 + sickle, but if ppl really only care the look...then i think serpent, dwarven and chaos are more eye-catching items in game^^, i will use my own sickles in my low lv char only, coz they usually better that the axe that dropped in that stage with low req, unless they are gold or purple.which really seldom drops, they are quite common if you know where to find it

Sickles aren't really that rare...if they were, everyone and their brother wouldn't be trying to make a quick buck by selling it to the local noob for 50k.
They would just keep it.
I had a 6-13 Sickle sitting in storage that I just gave away to some warrior in LA. Couldn't bother selling it, I mean really who cares...all I use mine for anyways is for running (+5 defense mod).
Until there are known max damage sickles, all they are is SHOWOFF axes...

Masar offered someone his 13%~15%>HP Sickle, Dwarven, Serpent and a shtload of other weapons for a 15% unconditional crystalline. maybe he can show u his sickle.

Hmm, I just met a guy who said he found a 6-28 damage purple sickle and is now using it. Maybe I can get him to take a screenshot of it and it's stats.
Anyway, why hasn't anyone mentioned the Tribal Axe? I only found one yet and that was in Kryta = low damage.
I see auctions of 10 serpent axes and sickles before I see one auction on a Tribal Axe. I think that axe belongs up there with the rare guys.

Personally, as looks go, I rate the tribal axe above all others.
Unfortunately for me, its one of the rare ones.

After reading this topic, I did a quick google search and found out to look for this stuff on Nolani. I did so for 15 minutes, which results in 1 sickle and 2 tribal axes (plus a lot of purple armors and dyes etc.). I dont think any of these things can be called rare cause they really drop a lot, may it not be max (max = rare in nolani, sickles and tribals not).

u can try to fight the minos outside of ice caves they dropped me 3-4 sickles per run none were over 17 dmg tho

Sickles OVER 20 max damage are extremely rare...sickles UNDER 20 max damage are quite common, IMO.

I dont think a Sickle will come in max dmg form, i just think its a low-level weapon thats never dropped in high level areas to be max like the Tribal Axe.. maybe, just a guess.

I sold white 5-10 (no req) sickle today for 4k. Wrote WTS 5-10 sickle and it was mainly a joke but got a whisper with 4k offer.
Some people seems to need them so badly. I should had keep all sickles I have found.
