Ok this guide requires a few steps
1. Set up your best skills
2. Equip your best armor/weapon
3. Go back to teh beginning of teh game and lvl up like everyone else.
Rinse and repeat per character

Secondary profession?
Amadei
I ascended my monk with just three skills (I was a level 17 at the time, so I'm not sure how/if it works for a level 8). I brought Blessed Aura, Divine Boon and Healing Breeze.
I cast all three before the cut scene and when it ended, I ran up to the mirror so she would start using the melee weapon. Spam Healing Breeze as often as you can and keep beating up on the dopple. It's not the fastest way, but this method worked for me.

Don't ascend yet. Do both 15 point attrib quests and go school some noobs in the ascalon arena. Cap Shield of Judgement and take along Zealots fire and Balthazars aura. Although it's quite a trek to Granite Citadel might take a few extra days.

don't bother at lvl 8, get to at least a lvl 15/16, you don't have enuff health to stand up to him yet, the mirror is basically twice as strong and fast as you are. You will not beable to beat him at such a low level, he wasn't meant to be beaten that low.

Monks beat it with Pre-searing skills most of the time.
It will never use Healing Breeze or Retribution. So most of them just keep retribution up, and spam healing breeze to stay alive.
Dont know how that'll work at low HP though..

Rinse and repeat per character Why do ppl like doing silly things like trying to beat a level 20 character with a level 8? And post asking in the forum how to do it. I say if someone is so gung ho to try it, they should beat it on their own merit.

Dont know how that'll work at low HP though.. Enemy npcs use healing breeze on themselves now. My 6th character/2nd ranger level 6 beat it with luck but it is doable if you know the skills you have.

2nd prof. is real important here. if you have a magic casting 2nd, maybe get some help getting the elite cap spell breaker. I dont know if a dopple will cast it or not. if you have mes 2nd, backfire.

This almost sounds like it would be a fun challenge to do... I know there are tons of ways to beat the dopple with monks, I did it on my first try with the "right" skill set with my Mo/W.
What is your secondary prof? (as already asked)
There are threads upon threads on how to beat a dopple for all professions - search there.
At lvl 8 your going to be lacking in HP (as already mentioned) and your barely gonna have enough att pts to do crazy damage, not to mention unless your in droks, and even in droks armor, your gonna get cut by the axe and the bow...
is this your first character? if it is... play the game through before you skip ahead... you can only skip so far before the NPC's catch ya and trash you. (think about a titan hitting a lvl 8 - 1 probably 2 hits and your a gonner!)

Not even that a level 22 Hydra would take him out in one hit or even a wurm and btw you aren't ascened yet untill you beat it.Go level up and get the rest of your skills.

Lowest I ever pulled off was lvl 11 with my Me/N... took a bunch of blood sacrifice skills, empathy, and backfire. used BF and Empathy and then wanded it until it Empathied me... it managed to kill me with dark pact... but the health sack from that, dark aura, and awaken the blood killed it before my death registered, so I rezzed and became a lvl 17. Monks usually have a very hard time in there, and theres not much I can reccommend especially at lvl 8... oh wait here's an idea...
Level-ups FTW!

I've done it with my lvl6 Monk/Necro. Ascended under 7 hours.
I had my pre searing armor.
I used all my att in Prot. I used Prot spirit my self. And put awaken the blood, weakening blood. I kept Prot spirit on me, and let him sac to death. He died in 10-15sec and got the bonus.

Just dont bring your best skills, bring useless skills, he usees what you bring.
So if you bring useless skills he will use them. Maybe try using Health stealing weapon, like 5:1, and maybe you will get him, because he dont use what you have. I had problems beating him with my ranger lvl 20, because I didnt know he used skills I have, and for some reason that combo was unstopable to beat agaist him, I bet if the unworthy had that combo on there ranger, they would woop ass. So just bring useless skills, like remove hex, loose half health to heal ally X%. spells like that.

You MUST spam Prot Spirit. You're hp are too low... If youre not a necro secondary, It will take take, but cast Prot Spirit and Healing breeze and melee him. He dont use Healing Breeze.

My N/Mo friend did that at lvl 11. Your advice worked like a charm. Only took 2 or 3 tries to get it right. tricky part is balancing Prot Spirit duration, and the strength of the breeze.
