Will it work with this graphics card

Hello, will guild wars work with this graphic card. Its a 64 mb intel extream integrated graphics. My friend has it in his laptop and bought everquest 2 but it didnt work because the card didnt support pixel shading. Does guild wars need pixel shading? Thanx for your help

Can't swear to it until you test it, but an on-board card of any type will almost certainly not work for any modern 3D game.

From the Guild Wars official site:

"Minimum Requirements:
ATI Radeon 8500 or GeForce 3 or 4 MX Series Video Card with 32MB of VRAM "

Your friend doesn't have a graphics card at all, he has graphics integrated into the motherboard, which are good for almost nothing when you are talking about 3D gaming. This is not to say that no laptops can play games, my friend has a Toshiba that will play anything, but the intel integrated graphics solution won't do it.

I have the same card just update the drivers and it will work fine

My AMD onboard card works just fine, granted my computer is brand new but it works fine. An old onboard would prolly not work, but on any computers bought within the last year or so should work fine.

Yah 32meg onboard video in my new MB works great. I get slight lag when there are lots of things going on, but not enough for me to drop 200 bucks on a new card. You get less detail on the ground(eg grass, dirt, rock details), but who really stares at the ground?

Man, thanx alot guys, this is reassuring. I bought the game last night but i really want my friend to have it also since we always play free MMORPGs together. The laptop is under a year old so i will tell him tonight
