A max dmg axe req 7?

I knew swords could spawn max dmg req 7 but i thought max damage axes could only spawn req 8 minimum?

but today i found this....
white piercing axe
6-28 dmg req 7 axe mastery

wtf? =/
i'm just a bit confused here, anyone else found such a thing before?
this is the first req 7 max dmg i've found in over 8million exp worth of grif runs =/

It's relatively new. It was added in one of the past updates.

i hav seen 1 other before so yer they are really rare ..

soemone was selling a require 7 un-id axe in LA the other day and a require 7 hammer too
