Do the graphics "Shimmer" for everyone or just me?

I have this shimmer on all my in game graphics that I find just slightly annoying. It seems the game uses some sort of full screen glow effect to make the images look softer without actually messing with the quality of the pictures. For example, as I stand still everything has a light glow to it, and it looks great. When I move around, the trees, terrain and what not all seem to shimmer, sometimes greatly and i would describe it as a backlight on an LCD going dim and back on, except this is in a hundred spots on the screen.

Not a major issue though i've tried to fix this anyway(or maybe it's better with the shimmering than without, but it seems too overdone and obvious).

I've tried 3 diff driver versions and changed some of the quality settings and nothing matters.

ANyone notice this too or Don't notice it at all, and if you don't what's your video card?

I'm running p4 3.2ghz with a 6800GT vid card and 1.5gigs of ram.

hmmm, i'm not sure if what you are describing is intentional.

Try running the game on a lower graphics setting and see if it still does it. If it doesn't, it's definatly intentional, if it does, then it still may be intentional.

Get some screen video caputring software, and host the vid on putfile.com so we can check it out.

Go into the Graphics Options and disable "post-processing effects". That sounds like what you're describing.

That, and what type of display are you on? Some LCD/TFTs will do that...
