Underworld

I have heard many players talking about the underworld. Does it exist and if so where is it? I've seen some weopons as of late and when asked where they got them all i'm told is someone sold it to them from the underworld.

The Underworld is an area accessed by giving tribute of 1k, at the Temple of the Ages, while your country/area has favor. The Fissure of Woe works the same way.

So if I go into the Underworld, then Europe loses Favor of the Gods, then I am booted out?

No but if you die or leave you cant get back in until your region has favor again.

What's so special over there? Drops?

Yes, and quests with 5-10k exp each. Oh, and you have Ascended to enter the UW or FoW.

Well before some rudely tells you to use the "search" option before posting a possible repetive thread........use the search option!

Now to answer your question - Underworld and the Fissure of Woe can be accessed from several places but the easiliest accessed place is Temple of Ages. This is a map spot NW of Bergen Hot Springs, thru two map zones and thru the swamps and lots of Undead mobs.

Basically you have to have ascended Character, the country servers you log in as (ie US, Europe, Korea) must have the favor of the gods in order to enter either UW or FoW. It costs 1k for your party to enter and if the entire party dies, you get sent back topside (no res shrines). Also there are certain NPC's down there known as Eternals, if they die...topside for you!!

It's a great experience with a competent group and sometimes well worth it drop-wise but also building exp - 50k+ easily.
