Endangered Species

I'm trying to complete the ranger mission from ranger nente called endangered species. You have to bring him a malandru's stalker and he gives you hunter's shot. However, pre-searing I got a wolf instead of a stalker. I read somehwere on the forums that there are no more stalkers after the searing, can anyone confirm this? If this is true is there an alternate way of getting the hunter's shot skill? Thanks alot, I'd really like the hunter's shot skill.

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure I've seen Melandru's stalkers after the searing. They weren't anywhere near Ascalon though. In fact, I think they were somewhere in Kryta (far to the west, I think I was about level 15 then.)

There should be a Melandru Stalker somewhere. I had kept mine though from Pre-Searing and he didn't even take it afterwards, so I got it for free

Anywho.. there should be a Melandru Stalker somewhere... wouldn't make sense if there wasn't.

There are some, go as far west(in old ascalon) as you can and if you dont see any, follow the edge down south. this was in bwe(i think) though, so im not sure.

go exactly south from where u talked to Nente...

u should come across a big opening... and there should be a whole bunch of those scorpion dudes and one scorpion boss... in around that area... there should be a Melandru Stalker
