I appologize for this newbie question that has probably been covered in another thread that I haven't spotted yet.
Is there a flag or indicator you can set to let people know that you are looking for a group?
And is there an interface that let's you list all of the people looking for a group by level, location, class, etc?
Such features would be really convenient for me since I don't like spamming LFG on the global chat, and I also don't like blind inviting people who are not interested in partying.
I noticed that a lot people just start sending out a million invites and wait for responses. This doesn't seem like a good method since you could end up with unbalanced parties or annoyed people.
What is the usual method for seeking and building parties in GW?
Thanks.
How do you LFG?

i dont think there is a particular way to do it.
Usually i'll play with my bf, so we get a party of us together then say "2 more for misson" or "2 more for Killers Quest" etc. If you look around in town, people who aren't in a party (light blue names) have the profession and level above their heads, so if you desperately need a monk, look around for one then just invite them. If they reject, then they reject.
An interface like you suggest would be cool though. Post it in the suggestions forum!

I found that you cant go around looking for a group. You have to make the group! Just do something like "Anyone doing XXX quest that needs a group come to the XXX place". Saying LFG has gotten me no were. While becoming a leader has gotten me full groups in just a few minutes.

I just pick out people who fit the party requirements that I need(level, classes) and offer invitations. If they accept, ok. If not, ok. I always make it clear what I want to do before I start inviting through all text.

Yea, I've had problems with finding partys of late, since I really want high level people in it ^^
Rather irritating.
