Might want to salvage something and sell that for a little more, but as far as I know, hammer warriors don't usually apply enchanting mods (someone told me this and I've never used a hammer before).

Whatever is not max damage, should be merchant-food.
As for exceptions, I only know of the sickle and tribal axe.
