Necro/mesmer Or Mesmer/necro?

which do you guys think is better mostly i am wandering if soul reaping is better then fast casting? or is it better the other way around pls help TY.

Depends on your preference, if you want your spells to go a little faster, go with Me/N and if you want to get energy from dying enemies/companions, go N/Me.

for PvE Ne/Me might be a choice - especially in quests with lots of enemies for energy regeneration.
for PvP you better take the Me/Ne - the fastcast ability is a huge benifit if you want to shut down casters.

You should also consider the different armor level each character can achieve.

And finally - you will spend a lot of time looking at your character. But that's your personal taste.

Personally i don't invest in soul reaping because i can't control the energy flow, like i can with illusion skills from the mesmer line.
