New character function?

I would like to see, on the character selection page when you log in, a "copy character" function to make a duplicate of a base character you like to use. Of course it would still be under the max of 4 chars provision.

I like to play the game and experiment, and would like to stick to one character I build up in presearing Ascalon.

What would be the point of this? This isn't City of Heroes with it's nearly limitless possible looks for a character. How hard is it to quickly choose between the 7 or 8 hair styles and faces?
