I'm new and have a few questions

where do you get the monk ability Mending, it can up to three health regeneration and it is an enchantment, the reason I want this one is because with a steady health regeneration I can not die so easily, but where do you get it?

It's from a quest you get from a monk outside and to the South of Ashford Abbey.

so it's outside ashford abbey, where all the monsters are and stuff

It's in Post searing (After the Academy in Pre searing). Your foe for the area will be the crawl.

well that's good cause I can take on like 30 grawl cause I am level 20, I just can't find that ability for some reason

If you're up to Ember Light Camp, you can acquire Mending there.

If you haven't done Grazden's quest yet, it would be better to do the quest than buying the skill. Waste of 1k IMO.

Actually, it can give 4 health regeneration if you're a monk primary. Heres a little info for what attribute level is required for each arrow of regen.

One regen: Attribute levels 1-2
Two regen: Attribute levels 3-7
Three regen: Attribute levels 8-12
Four regen: Attribute levels 13-16
