I need a suggestion

so i a noob at this game...we all are, i just received level 7 and i want your suggestions my primary is ranger and was wondering is elemetalist good for a second profession (for AOE attacks) and what level should i leave the Pre-seers

There is many possible outcomes being the sj for ranger. Ele is good, for aoe like u said, for aoe attacks. I seen lots of R/M just because monk is always good choice of subjob. Extra healings and being able to survive better. But basically, any SJ is fine, just depend on what you want.
I left the pre-searing at lvl 6, it was pretty easy for me. W/M

If you want to find a team for missions easily, go monk.

They're a good choice for secondary no matter what you plan on doing.

I was a lvl 8, I wanted to get everything I could before I left....and wanted to make sure I had the supplies I needed to make better armor..figured that out in Beta..lol I am a Ranger/Mesmer and with the troll and etherfeast skill you can keep yourself alive pretty well, just not heal others.
