Pagan Armor?

I got to Drok's with my necromancer today, and was visiting the crafter to find a rather interesting Pagan armor top.

From a search, I understand that this is from the beta? I'm still rather intrigued that I could have had it crafted (I didn't).

It was a low AL-- 55-- and with a very high price in terms of materials. Only the chestpiece was there.

Is there... a reason it was there? Is this a bug? If I purchased it (for kicks), would it disappear? If it really belongs there, why is it so expensive for such a small AL? The little icon was identical to the Necromancer's armor...

And thanks to a member of [LBS] for a very professional, quick run with cash on arrival.

chars from the betas were reset to lvl 1 with no inventory and standard armors (they were just placeholder in order to have our names reserved). I would guess the guy is either a closed alpha tester (i don't know how exactly it works... i thought the alpha were on a separate server..) or a dev.

The armor crafter in Droknar's has it available.

I think you misunderstood the situation. The armor was craftable at the armorer.

I think I'll go buy it and then complain to ANet until they give me all my materials back plus some for "emotional damages".

Actually, it must be a glitch....

"Pagan" is just the name of the collector armor. >.> Same graphic as the collector armor Pre-Searing.

This is Necromancer Collector's Armor. Pagan looks nothing like it.

That's exactly the same as collector armor, is it not? Unless the person who posted that image was completely ignorant of armor names, I'll assume they were correct.

i collect random armors for my characters, i'll have that pagan chest piece crafted and take a picture of it, then post it here... as long as this thread doesnt get buried before i get home from work.
