Quality of drops and loot distribution

I dont know if its just me , but it strikes me that drops have gone increasingly bad lately. Im not referring to any area in particular , im refering to all of them. For example it started happening lately that when i go on a Sorrows Furnace hunt and very few greens drop , 1-2 total and of course none for me. I must add that yestday evening no greens dropped at all and it was not a henchies grabbed my greens case. Chests yield mostly purples and when it is gold i end up with a grim cesta of armor +4 while 15>50% From time to time however it does happen that a gold magnet enters the group and he/she gets it all. Golds , greens u name it drops for that person. Is it just luck , is it a crazy equasion i dont know but, i do know that hunting for good items which is one of the things i enjoy most has gotten really bad for me. I got 4 characters and alternate between them and still no dice. I tried alternateing between areas , doing solo and group hunts and i got no improvement on drop quality. Also i must say that its frustrating as hell to go into UW play 5 hours and get noting while the guy next to u gets 5-6 ecto and a gold drop. I say fine if i would b that guy from time to time but the fact is i am never that guy. No solutionto this comes to mind. Im just very confused and unhappy with this and i would like it to get better. If any of u have similar expiriences or any comments pls post em

and then why do it that way?

ththat makes no sense, if you gonna have gold runes(rare)purple runes(uncommon)and blue runes(common) on the trader why change it up on the drops?

armor drops. the quality of runes on a peice of armor depends on the armor value of that peice of armor. if it has a high value then the better your chances of getting a superior (if it is gold) or major (if it is purple). there is no absolute cut-off for runes but the armor lvl thing is a very good indicator of rune level when used in conjunction with the colour.
