You don't do that in this game. You do the missions one at a time until you get to where you want to go. You can skip missions by walking, but it's usually easier to do the missions. And if you want to walk you need a map.
If you don't know what Sanctum Cay is, then you aren't far enough to get to the Crystal Desert (which is all level 20+ stuff).

Then why not just say that from the get go? Saves a whole lot of mess and trouble.

i think i can handle this, let x = local game store, y = someone who gives a damn, and z = playing the game for 2 minutes on your own
go to x, talk to y, and do z to find riverside, sanctum cay, armnoon oasis, arid sea, droknars lodge, and anything too far ahead for you to imagine
ps - you = noob

Go to Sanctum Cay (it's a place on the map that was linked to), talk to the people around you to form a party, then hit the "Enter mission" button. There's no actual level requirement, although obviously the lower level you are, the tougher it will be. (I have a level 11 R/E at Sanctum Cay, but I don't think he's quite ready to do the mission...)
