Strenght and Bows?

Just a little question I was thinking about earlier today since I saw some Warrior/Ranger running around with a bow....does Strenght work with Bows and if so wouldn't that make a Warrior/Ranger-Bowman better for PvP than a normal Ranger?? Okay there'd still be the energy/expertice part but I was just being curious....or does STR only affect melee? Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure it only applies to warrior skills. As it says the piercing damage is based on skills.

Strength is related to the armor one can equip, and the amount of increased damage one can do against armored opponents.

Expertise is related to a ranger's attack skills, and Marksmanship is what makes a bow more effective.
