Guild Wars - its over?

Hey. I have completed the game twice (excluding sorrows furnace) and took a break to play WoW for a bit. I recently came back to train up the monk i had been planning; but have recently given up. Why? No one is playing the game any more, at least not on the eu server. I had to do virtually all the earlier missions with henchies as there was little alternative.

My extensive friends list of over 100 from just a few months ago now has no more than 3 or 4 players online and all the ppl i actually know who used to play have long since moved on. I now do the same. Guild Wars just doesn't have the 'buy in' value that more sophistaicated games like WoW do. No professions; an oversimplified skill structure; and lack of development storyline wise. In my opinion, it over! A net will shut down the guild wars servers within a year.

it aint over. many people have become bored and stopped playing but they have all said that they will come back when the exapnsion comes out. heaps of people do pvp and gvg now.
