Enhancement for the Main Map

The ATT cell phone coverage map is an excellent example of a map interface.
Just add a zip code and check out the magnifying glass UI.

Well, that's kind of similar to the map interface that they have right now. Except now it does take a little bit of guesswork to pick exactly which spot you want to look at, and I can see problems later in the game once a lot more of the map is "discovered" in trying to pick out the area you want. But could it be considered a big problem with the interface? It seems that the main reason for having the interface as it is is so you can easily pick out where the major cities and areas are which you can jump too; the map doesn't really need to show anything more than that.

this would be very cool to have on the map. it is very annoying to me when i accidently click somewhere and then having to click again to get out. so if it had this you would not have to click out just move your mouse over it. the only thing i dont know how it would do it, but how would you click on where you want to go, if your moving the magnifying glass how are you gonna click on it. well i think it would be cool if they could figure out a way to do it.
