AI ressurection

Oh...before I start
Very nice decorations in guildwars ^^ (halloween special).
Looking forward to other holidays too..such as Christmas(free gift box from santa? ).

Anyways...
I was doing missions in last island towns(such as ember light camp, and etc)
We were short of monks...so we hired hench monks...like Mhelos and Lina.
We cleared enemies in the area, but most of players died. Somehow, Mhelos and Lina won't rez people till after about 3 to 5 minutes. With patient group, they wait till Mhelos or Lina starts ressurecting people. But some people will leave though.
So I thought it would be nice to mention this.

Thanks

AI's tend to put resurrecting player characters in greater priority than resurrecting other henchmen, unless that henchy is a monk, too. It is true, though, that when in groups composed largely of player characters, that priority tends to get diluted in the priority to keep the player/henchman characters that are already alive, alive.

I play as a monk, and I don't really see any real problems with this behaviour, and find it perfectly reasonable. If one of my party dies in combat, I usually don't bother ressing them right away. Usually I wait for the engagement to end, because ressing folk right away often leads to them dying again, thus accumulating more DP.

I agree that this can lead to really long wait times, but I can't really think of any way to fix it, besides instructing folk in your group to be patient...I mean, if a healer hench's priorities get raised, they may choose to res someone, then someone else dies. This will just result in a less effective party with really low DP...

Make sure everyone who is alive stands still near the dead. If you move around, the AI thinks you want to push ahead and will interrupt their rezing to follow you.

I'm ok with AI not rezzing in the middle of battle
But ""after"" the battle, AI monks just stand in one place for like 3 to 5 minutes before starting to rez the team.
I'll try to be little more specific

The battle ended. Entire team(consists of 6 players and 2 monk henchmen) died except 1 human player and Mhelos(AI monk). Mhelos will just stand there not rezzing people. No matter how live player moves around dead team member's body, Mhelos will just follow you and do nothing for 3 to 5 minutes. Then after 3 to 5 minutes...something triggers Mhelos to start rez people. By this time...some of impatient players already left the game.
I noticed that this happens frequently near last volcanic island missions(like ring of fire, and etc).

Anyone have their entire human controlled party die only to have your hench stefan fight a self healing monster? I did.

the best way to get a henchies attention is to control click on your, and other dead bodies to say [insert name here] is dead! this tends to get them rezzing.

I'm pretty sure the whole team tried that...but did not work...Mhenlo just stood in one spot.
But I'll try that again
Thanks

AI must be really hard to get right. In some cases rezzing is a bad idea for instance, and programming for those situations is hard.

I was with all henchies once and we met with a hopeless battle. The enemy overpowered us and it was clear that dying would be better so we could restart fresh.

Unfortunately Alesia remained and while she was getting heavily attacked, she resurrected me. Then she died, leaving me to dye again, this time with even more death penalty. 1 death just turned into -30% for me. She did this with some of the other henchmen too.

Mind you, I shouldn't have been in the Ice Dome with just henchies anyway. That place is much too tough for that setup.
