new player, can you suggest a class combo according to my post?

Hi,

I'm a new player and I'm wondering what is a good class combo for solo pve and random pvp later on?

I dont think I have the time to invest in end game item hunting and will likely never be able to join an elite guild.

I'm looking for something that does well solo (preferebly without henchmen, or just the healer). For pvp, I see myself mostly joining PUGs and would like a class that will be effective. I like dealing damage, I'm not the subtle type.

I imagine I'm looking at ranger or warrior as primary class, no idea for secondary however

It doesn't matter use PvP chars for PvE not PvP.


Once again it doesn't matter everything is given to you for PvP except things you have to unlock.

No such thing, guildwars is a team game you can't do the game alone you HAVE to use henchmen or people.

I'd say do an ele monk for PvE. You can heal and do damage and it's pretty straight forward.

PvP you won't know until you play.

there is no item hunting in this game, i got max items within an hour, just finishing the final missions.

dont solo, solo character are actually built to ONLY solo (usually a certain place) and definantly not good everywhere


you sounds like a warrior/necro (blood and hammers) be prepared for needing backup though
