Just recently found a sword hilt that lengthens poison.
Informtion found on web says it lengthens poison by 33%.

My question is, how does a sword (or ax, or hammer) do poison damage.

My warrior does not have an apply poison skill like a ranger.

Now my warrior does have a really sweet icy ax that does cold damage on its own.

But poison. WTF

I think you sort answer your own question.

Ranger Apply Poison.

Play Was Warrior/Ranger (very populat atm)

Not sure if it would work with a Necro

there are many ways to inflict poison... but the warrior cant do it alone

use your secondary or a team member.

Sell the hilt to somebody that can actually use it. Either that or make a W/R.

Or hold onto it and after ascension you can change your warrior's secondary to R

As many other have said, yes, it's only because <IWAY> is popular and W/R's are being manufactured like it's going out of style. This hilt works great with apply poison. But to me, using a W/R I still prefer Axe and Axe Cyclone with Apply Poison = Group poison. Devastating. =)

Hmmm Another way you can use it is if a ranger with apply poison is attacking the same person you are....
