Tip for the Pumpkin Crowns

i used the crown for my pyromancer, sadly with te crown on i lose a +1 in fire and do we get armor with the pumpkin? I tossed a vigor on it since that is what i had on my "eye" a 15 in fire magic is ok but it is not a 16

Haha...that's cute. Too bad the Crown doesn't actually have AL. Else I'd totally be wearing it in Tombs

I'm wearing it in PVE just for the hell of it, got it infused too.

If I had a Solo monk still, I'd use this as the helm, just to look funny for the aatxes

Pumpkins give you NO armour at all. I found this out when a hydra fireball blew up my pumpkin head for 264 damage lol...

My warrior has been farming minos with the pumpkin crown on. Talk about a hoot. Evil axe wielding pumpkin head surrounded by a ring of dead minos.
Now, infused....THAT sounds like a hoot.

The hats look awsome except I think we shoulda have been allowed to wear them above our head gear like a mask. That way we could all wear them to everywhere like pvp and pve which would rule ;P

If anything the only thing I miss the devs would add is:
Armor to the Pumkin Crowns... at least 40 AL, some protection ^_^
Also there should be a /halloween command to restored them...

yea but its only suppose to be a little cosmetic thing, for fun... not really meant as a fighting armor... sure you can add a rune to it for the heck of it. I added a major vigor rune to it, just for giggles. but really... why... its just a mask to play with and take up a inventory slot... there will be another for Christmas... either Santa hat or snowman mask it looks like...
these are basically slot sinks. lol making a slots dwindle each time you continue to collect your items. lol with spare armor and collector holiday items you soon find that slots are a premium.. and you may or may not keep them. but its fun all the same...

Christmas should have a skill trainer NPC who teaches skill: "hurl snowball" that can be used in towns.

What I saw in another forum that you can add any rune to it even from another profession.
I wanna try this for my mesmer, imagine add another 3 fire damage point to my nuking.
If it actually works then no elm can match me, fast casting skills and I rarely run out of energy

Do you get the stats from the other profession or is it like the -75 hp stack but not the +3 when you put 2 of the same sup runes on?
Talk about these thing holding up slots. I barely have any room left now. 1 bag is full of items to sell. other bag is full of dif armor. pouch is half full. stater bag is half full of crap. (not useless)

actually -- i tried it and you can't put on runes from other professions.

2. You can't put runes of other professions on the Pumpkin Crown.
