We went to SF with this group and after the first green dropped our other nuker dropped so the 5 of us continued.. Then the Warrior and the healer also left (can't recall why). So that leaves our Mesmer, the Bond monk and myself the battery..

We set off deeper in SF, letting me tank and actually all went well... *until* I get this rare bonestaff dropped for me.. at first I couldn't find it but only the saw the message that a rare bonestaff was dropped.. so I walked back a bit and saw it on top of the bridge. Since I knew no other way around to get it I decided to go trough the big batch of Enslaved Ettins and what else to get it..

Long story short.. we got a 60% DP and the whole party decided to quit.. leaving my nice staff there..

Uhm actually the 3 of us (the Mesmer, the Monk and I) tried to get to that staff together but because there were so many enemies we decided to give up.

So it wasn't me being annoying.. at all..

its the 1337 Bone Staff of Lag
whenever you attack someone with it they lag out of the game!

actually I feel for you but there is an easier way to get around and up to that bridge ... take the route immediately to the left of the main entrance .... keep following it past 3 bosses, then tada ... the birdge ... maybe better luck next time ... the route only has summit mobs, and dredge mobs.

you *may* have been able to pick it up from under the bridge.. the game seems to be unable to tell what's up and down sometimes, (you can attack the guards up on the towers in Riverside by standing next to the tower and smacking them with a melee weapon of your choice, AND you can pick up an item if it drops for you up there, so long as it's close enough to the edge.)

I've killed a Dark Binder on that bridge as a Warrior by positioning myself right next to it via compass and then attacking it.. good times..

One time I was in the middle of doing Thunderhead, and a Purple Fellblade dropped for me.

We were at the fort, just where the King is supposed to open the door. Now as anyone smart knows, you should take out the Dwarf Rangers and Enslaved Giants on top of the fort wall first. That way you dont have to deal with them and the Summit coming down the mountain aswell. Well we took care of the giants closest to the door. But the idiot warrior went, grabbed the King and opened the door.

We all got slaughtered and my Fellblade sat there.

if you have to pass through the closed gate to get there, ie the sharp turn to the right after the stairs when you first arrive at the fort, they 'fixed' this one. You can't do that anymore.
