Once upon a time..

Hello everyone!

Before posting or creating a new thread, please take a look at the Official Guild Wars Guru Forum Guidelines. Moderators will be referring to these rules, so please read them and be aware of their contents.

Also, in an effort to keep our boards neat and tidy, here are few useful links for both the veteran Guru goer as well as our newer, bright-eyed members:

The Official Guild Wars Guru FAQ - Filled with useful information.

The Official Introductions Thread - If you're new to the Guild Wars Guru community, drop by this thread and tell us a little about yourself. Don't worry, we don't bite.

Reporting Things To Arenanet - If you're having trouble with someone or something disrupting your in-game experience, check out this thread.

The Official Guild Wars Scams Thread - If you're worried about being scammed in-game, or have been scammed in-game, you should check out this thread as you are not alone.

This thread will be updated to add any other common issues, so remember to check back! Enjoy the forums, and remember to introduce yourself in the introduction thread!

As an addendum to this topic--how to react to bad posts.

If as an aware user you happen upon a post that you believe breaks these rules, please use the report bad post button to send a warning to all forum moderators. The icon for reporting bad posts appears as a triangular sign () in the bottom-lefthand corner of each post. Click the report button corresponding to the bad post, and fill out the bad post report appropriately, and it will be acted upon quickly and quietly.

If you feel that reporting a post is not fast enough, check our "Who's online" list for any active forum moderators/super moderators/administrators and you may pm them with the issue, and they will act accordingly, as the situation fits.

For the sake of the boards, though, please do not post within the thread pointing out the bad post. This only contributes a bump and an off-topic post to the potential problem.
