Earth Spells for low-level Elementalists....

Sorry if this has been covered before. Several searches turned up nothing, so I'll go ahead and ask.

I've noticed that elementalist spells in the early game lean very heavily toward fire. I'm wanting to spec in earth, but have noticed that almost no earth spells are offered in pre-searing or early post-searing.

Is there something I'm missing, or will I simply have to spec fire early on and respec into earth later in the game?

I had this problem to, I just did not want to spec fire, i tried every element and at level 13 and just couldnt find a good build. So yes it seems that fire is the most effective build until maybe even 20.

Refund points are your friend. Spec in what you've got. You can always respec when you start getting earth stuff.

Remember you regain your refund points. One every 250 xp earned.

Yes, unfortunately fire is far and away the best element of choice for a PvE elementalist lvls 1-20. Once you start getting elite skills though all 4 elements have nice build opportunities. Sure is nice to be able to re-spec so easily.

Thanks for this post. I have a very dandy Fire Elementalist, but really wanted to try Air and Water. I was put off by the lack of good spells early on. Now, I will try them, knowing that I can respec from fire as better skills in other areas come around.
