Sorry if this is a previously discussed topic. I'm new here so bear with my noob-ness. I haven't had time yet to check out all the threads..
I currently have a Guild Wars account installed on my computer.. however my sister would like to play so I went out and bought a second copy of the cd for her to use. The problem now is we have only one computer in the house so I need to install her copy onto my computer as well. So far I am unable to figure out how to accomplish this and hope that it can be done.. otherwise I have a second cd that I can't use or return. I have also tried adding her key in but that fails as well. I even tried to install her copy to a different folder name. That didn't work. Please help!
Please help =(

The quickest resolution I can think of is trying the "Create Account" button on the login screen again, and trying the CD key. You only need one client to play, so it shouldn't matter which GW you install on your computer, but which key you're linking to which E-Mail address.
A possible number of resolutions I can think of at the moment are as follows:
-Make sure you're not signing up under the same E-Mail address as she is. E-Mails are linked to account names and thus can cause problems when referenced from more than one source.
-Make sure you've installed one game, then tried "create account" at the login screen, under the "password" box. This should allow you to create a new account with your sister's access key.
-Make sure only one copy of GW is installed. You don't need two.
If your problem persists, then this may be more of a technical issue than a registration one

Thanks bunches! I don't know why I failed to think of this.. and I didn't want her to use my existing account since they are so adament it breaches the rules. It WORKED! Now I just have to train both of our brains to remember to use our OWN accounts! LOL

you also could have installed the other game to an alternate directory instead of the default so you would have 2 seperate accounts

We have 3 accounts, on two computers, and only installed GW once.
