Unlocking stuff for a pvp player is fast and easy. I have used all my slots for pve chars and have done the game with each one. I have unlocked everything there is to unlock in the game through pve.
I have every skill and pretty much have every elite for each char primary and secondary. When i change secondary professions i should have every unlocked skill available to me. Pvp chars can be deleted and recreated with every unlocked skill giving them more options of builds. Why can my pve player do the same when i change secondary profession? Ive spent the time unlocking it, i should enjoy the spoils too.
Deleting a char for a dumb pvp slot is not an option. I like playing all my chars equaly and spent too much time with them to just delete them.
Why nurf pve players in pvp?

Unlocking all profession's skills for unlocking one profession's skills is silly. There's a reason you can make either a PvE or PvP character, one is made for playing through the storyline, while the other is meant for competition.
I've deleted 7 (yes, 7) characters, fully equipped with multiple armour sets, all skills (including elites), and if I wanted another character for PvE, I'd delete an 8th. Just pick the one you like the least, and delete it. If you can't do that, well, live with it. PvE characters were never made to be equals to PvP characters.

I think this is a reasonable request; when you change secondaries, all of the skills you're account has unlocked for that class should be available.

the issue isn't about equally in terms of the battlefield, but in terms of flexibility.
with pvp, any skill you unlock through faction is immediately available for any and every single pvp character you make. this means that at a whim, you can delete and recreate your pvp characters and have the skills that you unlocked available to you. there is absolutely nothing wrong with this and this is how it should be. this is to allow maximum flexibility of builds without worrying about losing anything.
however, with pve, any skill unlocked is available only for the character that you acquired it with. if you changed your secondary in pve, which you are allowed to do, you still have to acquire all the skills for that secondary. this limits flexibility because you have to invest more time/money into getting more skills.
if early/midgame skill balance is an issue, make it so that the unlocked skills are only available once you have completed the necessary profession path quest in the desert. this is fairly late in the game anyway.
i would very much enjoy being able to switch secondaries around and already having the skills that i have unlocked through other characters available for me. then it might make it worthwhile to toy around with different secondaries.

Anyway, its only fair then that if you delete your pvp character the skills/items/runes you unlocked with your factions points should also be reset.
