can anyone tell me what does silk used for?????

i got many silk but i still dunno what they are used for.....at least not for me......i can't sell it to other players and the merchant price is crazy....so plz tell me if you know something about it, thx

You can use it to buy mesmer armor
But i thought only for the performer's

It's used to craft rarer armor for the mesmer profession or some other caster, I believe.

and one of the ranger's masks.

What you mean to say, is silk is used for mesmer and elemental underwear.

Everyone else uses a cotton based underwear.

Silk is used for crafting mesmer Performer's and Virtuoso armor.

I believe silk is also used to craft damask, which is in turn used to craft mesmer Noble armor and monk Saintly armor.

I would hold onto your silk if I were you. When you hit Drok's and destinations onward, people will wish to buy it from you rather than the trader.

But, then again, sometimes the inventory space is taken up with more important things. Up to you!

I think I had to use some for my Aeromancer's armor a long time back in Lion's Arch.

Ever since the mino killing in the desert, the trade in silk bottomed out long ago. It used to be worth holding and selling. At this point, it's the cheapest of all rare crafting materials.

Actually, it is I must've mistaken that with something else (although I know I've seen silk somewhere!)

in alpha it also made silk monk armor but now that armor gone.
