Pet Problem!

Hi,

I have a Necro/Ranger .. lvl 14 .. And i keep having the problem that my pet is never where i am. First i had a stalker pet.. lvl 7.. it kept givin the problem .. so i thought perhaps the pet cant get out of the ascalon area.. so i changed to moa bird, but this one also keeps giving the problem. Anyone else have this problem as well ?

You mean not following you? Nope, never had that problem. Is it getting stuck?

Well. Say for example. I'm running around with him in old ascalon. Then i go back to town, and i switch to The wilds. Then i go out in the wilds, and it's gone. Not with me anymore. And if i return to old ascalon and go outside.. it's not their either.

Did you remove Charm Animal from your skill bar?

You have to have charm animal in your skill list.

Press K and drag it to you bottom skill bar and it will be there when you go out to Old Ascalon or Wilds...

hmm, you need to keep charm animal with you at all times to keep the animal with you ?.. Ok.. lol that explains . thx ;P. * now i feel like a noob =[. *

Nah, had the same thing happen. Also found out that if you want your pet to lvl you should take him out as much as possible. I kept him off me for about 3-4 levels and he was still lvl 7 while I was lvl 11.

Just an FYI that your pet gains EXP just like you do.

then i'll be havin a hell of a job to train my lvl 4 Moa Bird .

Pets tend to catch up pretty quick. Just bring it with you and don't forget to bring Comfort Animal as well for when it bites the bullet for ya.
