Significant errors in Europe.

Seems like hundreds of people from the UK to Romania have been experiencing loss of guilds, error 7, error 13's and being 'stuck' in the town they were in for several hours. Apparently America is unaffected.

Anyone either experienced this or have an official word on what the problem is/was.

Please done move to technical yet. This has had a community wide impact

That's what happened to the American server when they made updates to Add support for the European Special Edition of Guild Wars.
The 20th of October.

They'll fix it.

They'll probably have to re-fix thunderclap and all those skills again also, since they where caused by the same update.
Don't worry about it'll take a day or two.

Other than that you're stuck doing missions or just chatting if you don't want to have err=7.

it'd be nice if they just acknowleged there was a problem, kinda like the last update where this happened but nothing was mentioned.

as if ppl wouldn't notice if they didn't say anything. is kinda ****ing me off at the moment

if this is recent ill back it up, in am american server my guild keeps disapearing and my whole team error 40'd simultaneously once.

We were in a GvG, when almost everyone err=7ed simultaneously Our guild had 2 players left in the GvG (it also was the first GvG ever for one of them, so he was feeling pretty confused), and the other team had even better luck and only had one monk left. The 3 of them had a nice little private GvG for about 15 more minutes (in a horrible lag) before our guys DPed the lone monk and killed the Lord. Sounded like they had fun while the rest of us were sulking in the GH ... not sure the other guild was too happy to lose the rating because of bugs in the game tho .

I'm in an American server, and while I haven't had any errors, I'll randomly leave my guild when I see a loading screen.

I hate that sort of thing.

I experianced the guild-loss bug myself. It comes back after a bit, but it would be a bummer to win a gvg (and delightful to lose a gvg) while guild info was MIA and it didn't count.

Yes i had the same guild loss for a few times in the recent weeks. First it was very annoying but later on me and my friend could only laugh about how we keep loosing our guild and gaining it back later. But yesterday it was worse, there were 2 times when we were dropped and couldnt log back for (about) 4-5 min (possible server restart?). But again, it was funny to see an almost full augury district with ppl being guildless... ..the addition was the patch yesterday, that "Fixed a server crash bug", tho we seemed to have more "server crash" after it ohwell, i guess they will fix it soon...

Yesterday whenever i changed town I lossed my guild and when i get outside and do some killing it returned. I hope they'll fix it

Also me and most of my guidees got chucked out at some point and couldnt get back in for 10 minutes (error 13??)

Tuesday night, I had 15 err 7's on the US servers. Every 5 minutes as regular as clock work. Seems to have sorted itself out now though.

I get err 7 almost everyday now and my characters keep getting frozen in towns.. no movement, chat doesn't work and all I can do is press alt-f4 and restart GW. Err 7 makes me hesitant about playing tombs or going to UW/FOW in case I drop out.. It annoys everyone not just the people getting the error messages.

Please fix this.

Man was in tombs and i lost my guild. Damn weird to see my guild tag missing.

Yeah i lost my guild when i farmed some griffons my guild was back and evry1 was showed offline but 9 ppl where talking in the guild. When i got back in town i lost my Guild again

The bug is not nice, people get worried about being kicked or something.

Please fix this quickly.

yeah it's really annoying... i keep getting msg'd asking if i kicked them...

I'm getting guild errors today on the US server too. I'm out of the guild for a few minutes or more each and every time I enter a new zone. Maybe nothing more than an annoyance, but worth pointing out that its widespread.

Much more than an annoyance, last week it just stopped us from doing GvG matches.

I cant understand why ANet doesn't have a site page with bugs acknowledgment. Better than leaving everyone wondering what are these guys doing and do they even know about the problem.

I'm leader in a mostly european guild (95% is european and on eu servers) and I get spiked to death by whispers from people reporting the bug. It's not uncommon that I have to tell 5 or 6 people that it's just a bug. Needless to say a lot of european guilds are scared to do any gvg at the moment, especially lower ranked ones, which usually don't follow news and forums like this, so they know what's going on. With this season of the ladder being qualifying rounds, it's impossible to say that every district had equal opportunities for qualifying, as insignificant as it may seem in practice, but theoretically, not all districts have equal opportunities for qualifying, if this continues.
