Colored chalk on minimap?

I dunno if has been posted (i searched already), but i think it would be a good idea to assign colors to everyone on the team. By colors i mean the color of the lines you draw on the minimap. cuz occasionally i get that giddy 10 year old who likes to spam and scribble on the map and no one knows who it is. it would also be nice because some ppl are more sensible than others, and i would rather follow their map directions, rather than some know-it-all who tries to confuse the party.

and maybe a way to block certain "chalk" from showing up, like a chalk ignore list in case you run into that 10 year old who scribbles on yonder map.

I had that happen in a run-two lower level warrior/monks were arguing the whole time from ToA to Sanctum Cay. At one point, I allowed myself to get distracted and found myself surrounded by 4 very angry minotaurs. While their damage wasn't enough to kill me, my damage wasn't enough to kill them, either. I told my teammates that I'd allow myself to die so that the minotaur would wander off and to come rez me after I'd died so that I could continue the run (with a sizeable discount). Everyone died but one paladin-level 13, if I remember correctly. I went back to watching my dead body and pinging the map furiously, leading the last teammate to my dead body...but he didn't have a rez. The run is a relatively easy one (as long as you're not dumb and get stuck, lol) and I encouraged him to go on to the zone-which wasn't far off. There was one fork in the road ahead and then a straight shot. I watched the warrior and drew the directions on the map for him. The lower level (lvl 9, I believe) warrior decided it'd be cute to draw his own directions on the map which almost led to our hero's death. Luckily, I set our runner straight by typing out the directions, which was infinitely more tedious, but just as effective.

(He received 1/4th of my total pay for the run.)

I'd love to see different colors-like yellow for the designated party leader (me in that case) and blue for all others. OR, assign color on join order...that may make for unpartying-repartying a lot: people always insisting on being leader so that they can be pink, for example...it'd have to worked out, but it's a great idea.

I like the idea. Maybe the color of the chalk depends on what order your are in in the party. 1st- red 2nd-blue 3rd-yellow and so on.

Nothings wrong with pink.... I have a pair of pink, black and white Vans I'll have you know. And I'm male.

Sometimes I think its amusing when little ten year olds draw variants of the male anatomy on the map... most of the time however its annoying.

It pretty much means you agree with their idea. That's what I think it means anyway.

One day I was getting ran to yaks and someone kept drawing on the map. Turns out I was accused of it and was kicked eventually...I don't blame them for thinking it was me, even though there's no way to tell. With colored chalk it would have been avoided.

good idea. atleast any1 will try to draw anything on the map will think many times before doing that
