Guild Bug FTW?

We have worked bloody hard over recent weeks to achieve a spot in the top 200 on the ladder.
Then, last night, we all got together in our hall for GvG. Actually, this was easier said than done, as the guild bug was out in force, with apparently random members of the guild unable to get into the guild hall as they didnt have a guild....
Anyway, in the end we managed it, although one of our eight had managed to get into the hall without a cape or tags. Wierdness
So, we got together into a team and entered rated GvG. The map loads up, drawn away against a rank 330ish guild.....all fine until we notice that we are only seven. The eighth spot wasnt greyed out, it just wasnt there. Our eighth member had been left behind in the Guild Hall saying 'WTF happened', naturally enough.
The player that we lost was our flag runner, meaning we had to assign a key member of our offence to this role, a role he wasnt built for.
Well, it was quite a close fight, but unsurprisingly we were always struggling to get and hold control of the flag, and our attacks werent doing the damage they should have been because of the lack of the key player now assigned to the flag duties. We held them off for nearly the 30 minutes and tried various other players on flag running, but couldnt quite do it. We lost 17 points as a result of the defeat and fell more than 70 places (this part of the ladder is very congested). Ironically, we met the same guild an hour or so later in the tombs and won pretty easily. I Dont think they were running the same build as before, but still.
Now I can take losses which are induced by lag, although its frustrating, and i can even take losses induced by neterr=7, as sometimes both of these can be caused by player PC issues, but this loss last night really really annoyed me as it was induced purely and indisputably by an error at the server end. I have filed a bug report asking if our points can be re-instated, but this is really more out of hope than any belief that they will be either willing or able to do this.
Anet says that high end GvG is their flagship event. Well, perhaps ANet would like to inform us when they have sorted out their guild bug issues, as it is very difficult for us to trust in a system which can undo all our good work in this arbritary fashion. At which point will we be able to enter GvG with any confidence that the server will give us a fair and equal chance of winning?
For a PVP Guild, rank and rating are everything, ANet knows this full well. So beware the guild bug PVP guilds, as this will screw your rank and your rating, and there will be little you can do about it.
Sort it out Anet, or you will lose players.

I experienced this bug 3 times today when I was PvEing and even then it was frustrating, let alone to have it happen in GvG...

As the Guild bug is back today with a vengeance we have decided to not do any GvG this evening in order to prevent the issues that occured the other night.
this is getting beyond a joke really - if someone from ANet is reading this, sort it out please, it is rapidly killing players confidence in the game

It happens every time you load a new area. Every new match I played in CA, my guild vanished, and would only appear about 2 min. into the match (if at all).

Yeah I had this happen earlier and it freaked me out. Hopefully a fix soon!

Typically, you'll notice this after an update. Due to the amount of players exiting and logging back in at the same time, occasionally the servers responsible for keeping track of your guild will get a little busier than normal and it may take a few moments for your particular character to update. This should fix itself very soon.
Also, try creating a new character to see if that character is in the guild or if it can be re-invited. If these measures do not work, please be patient as we work to fix this issue.

Yeah, I can understand a little bug now and then, but this one is getting downright ANNOYING. It's happening more and more frequently, and while I'm sure Anet with sort it out, for the time being it's certainly giving me a headache. I also seem to be experiencing Neterr7 rather frequently as well, but I don't think that's a bug so much as my crappy computer...^_^

its happened to me quite a lot of times, another guild member tougt he got kicked due to this, though i just told him its justa bug and ur still on te roster.....grr better get a fix.
