Spamming local chat

Yes, It's probably happend to all of use, we got to a major city, and we have people spamming like hell in the local chat WTS WTS WTB WTB!

And we're trying have a chat..then spam...WTS WTS. Why can't people just use
the god damn trade chanel?!?. It's damn annoying.

What do you think of this?

This problem has been happening since the trade channel was introduced; dunno if it's a reportable offense though. I always turn off local to filter out the obnoxious kids with nothign better to do than cuss everyone out; since alot of us do this it means less business for the general chat spammers...just makes them dumber than the average spammer.

i hope it will lighten when they add the uber "AUCTION HOUSE"

Hopefully then it will be quiet and peaceful in cities.

it would be nice also if a find team sirt of function was initiated. like you could put in what kind of player you were looking for and it would give you a list of acceptable players.

I'm going to close this since the topic's been discussed a lot. Additionally, if you head over to the Sardelac Sanitarium, you'll find a LOT of threads with ideas on how to improve the trading applications which, not just coincidentally, will ease the spam.
