runes in pre sering ?

Yes, farming Charr across the wall it is technically possible to get a rune.

I've gotten two purple armors from the Charr area north of the wall, so yes

the purpul armors ar not so rare but i always get 2-3 iron from it

You can get enemy armors with runes, but you can't ever expert salvage them out, if that's what you're wondering.

Yeah but why bother staying pre? Post so much better...

i think pre has a nice touch to it..

pre is kinda interesting, its fun to sell the little crap you find there to people, but i wouldnt waste a character slot on staying there

I think pre-searing is way more fun than post-searing Ascalon.

i keep 1 character there for vacations at all times

Pre-searing is like a dream; no dp, no annoying prince rurik (except in that one quest Charr at the Gate?), no hench, no need for res sig, gwen healing you for 20 points, those crapy +1 to +5 energy items, and all the other good crap that dont need no req....


Now to get to the topic at hand:
I got a purple charr armor in pre-searing and i id'd it and unlocked a new rune (mesmer or something) i got a few iron ingots out of it, and left pre with 1k+

Ive gotten a few purple drops, just send them forward with my other weekly loot.

Then Expert kit them in post

You also forgot to mention the ppl practically giving black dye away at times in pre. I also keep a char. over there to find deals. Well at least they use to, dont know if the drops have been changed, havent done it in awhile.
