Not to be mistaken for the opinion thread currently going on here as well, but I'd like some clarifications of the rules.
(A) How do I report threads in blatant violation of the 24 hour bump mod? There are a couple of threads going on right now in Ventari's that are nearly bi-hourly bumps, which is IMO an extremely outright violation of the rules. The guidelines don't really say anything about this, and the report post button seems inappropriate given the warnings about what it should be used for.
(B) At what point can two threads be made? The rules mention 24 hours after your most recent thread. Is that 24 hours upon closure? Or 24 hours after you created the first thread?
(C) I never really understood the purpose behind the restriction of having only bid posts. While I agree that free bumps are pretty much in bad taste, having a proper dicussion on offers or other related stuff seems pretty relevant in a Sell forum. Any reasons behind this really?
Thanks for any clarification

A) You can use the report post button or pm a link to a mod. (or simply wait - if it is that blatent we will spot it eventually).
B) 24 hours after you created your first thread (tho personally i'd like to change it to "upon closure").
C) discussions can all still occur - just in pm (or in the ETC if it's price related). It's main reason is to stop the "free bumps" and "omg leet item!!!!" posts. Questions - such as missing details / setting BO's etc etc can all be asked via pm. Other post will be judged on merit / relevance.

Shanksie - I'd like to request some further clarification on point B.
The way I read it, it says that you can have multiple threads going at once, as long as the first post in thread 2 starts at least 24 hours after the first post in thread 1.
I interpreted the rules to mean that you can only have one active sell thread going at once (and therefore, your "upon closure" clause would be in effect)...but your explanation of point B seems to suggest otherwise.
Can users have multiple sell threads going at the same time as long as there are 24 hours between opening times?

Swehurn - imho the current guideline is a little vague - it will be reworded soon (if i get my way). Then once we have cleared things up a bit we will be able to apply one easy to understand guideline.
but in answer to your qwestion - atm - yes.

I agree that you should only be able to have one current sell thread going at once. It leaves the possibility open for people to have one item per thread running at once, which IMO really "spams up" the forum. These items can be easily consolidated into one thread; which most people do already - but I see others that have a ton of threads going on at once, with week-long auctions going on. Some of these people have 3-4+ threads running at once, and all it really does it add to the clutter.
I was also under the impression that you could only have one sell thread going on at once.
