when to use different salvage kits

i was wondering which salvage kits u use for weapons that unlock 2 upgrade components? does it depend which one is show first, which component is higher on the list, etc?

Expert salvage kits are the best to use if you're interested in removing weapon components. The chances of removing one component is equal to that of removing the other. The only difference between this and regular salvage kits is that regular kits decrease the chance of getting the mod and increase the chance of getting materials from the item.

then what are superior salvage kits suppose to do? increase the chance even more?

Superior salvage kits are expert salvage kits with more uses.

Here is our rule:

Under level 19 use a salvage kit
Over level 20 use a expert salvage kit

I'm frivolous, and I have the money, so I ALWAYS use Experts, doesn't matter where when, because I like the luxury. But to those who don't have the money, my general rule of thumb:

If it's highly salvageable, expert.
If it's just a regular armor, regular.
Runed armor, expert <for return>
Hammers, weapons and other salvages: Depends on where, really. If you're around ascalon-into the shiverpeaks, i'd say normal, as expert won't really net you as much as it should be. Use a normal.

Those are just a couple of comments.

<Also: Expert Salvage anywhere round droks and high level zones. The armor usually nets 10+ of the matieral, at least from my experience>

I find that I get rare materials often from salvaging armor from enemies in the Shiverpeaks and beyond, but don't waste an expert salvage kit on armor dropped in the desert and before.
