Hi, is it possible to run multiple copies of the game from the same IP address (Fiancee and I both want to play @ the same time and preferably from the same copy) or does it require me to purchase another copy for her to use?

I don't have a problem with her using some spare character slots from my account.

anyone know?

cheers!

Hi,

On 2 seperate computers playing at the same time will require 2 copies of the game. That is the way that myself and my son are currently playing.
The cd key only can create 1 account and can only be logged onto the servers once.

Hope this helps...

However, you can buy the second key online if you want. You don't need another box.

You can play on the same ip with a router, hub, switch, or direct link from the other computer (I think). If it doesn't work, enable your DMZ (but it should work without DMZ without any problems at all)

What should I enter for an IP? Router or computer?

If you won't be playing online together at the same time, then she can use any of the four character slots to play her own character. You only need a second copy if you both want to play online with separate characters at the same time.

For what? the DMZ? Just put some random Router IP (ie; 192.168.1.100)

So, i would be able to play it @ my dad's and @ home? Or would i need to uninstall the game and keep reinstalling?

You can install the game on multiple machines and use your account on all of them.
